How would that be a nuclear war? Iran hasn't got anywhere near enough weapons grade plutonium to make even one bomb. And the minute Israel think they do, they'll take out all of their centrifuges, which is what America is pretending it doesn't want to happen.I suppose Russia would back Iran, and America back Israel, but that would just turn into another proxy war in the Middle East.

Iran can make bombs, and it does not take much material to make it dirty.

Israel have proper nuclear weapons, but in a local spat one of each would be enough of an effect to be annoying for Jordan. And then the Yanks and Syrians (aka CCCP) will get involved and the energy crisis will become somewhat moot.
