I don't fancy it in a side crash. If some clown in a 4*4 hit you side on, at least in a Miggy you have a middle pillar that links to the body shell, plus the Miggy doors have substantial impact bars. This can't offer the same protection, you would need to reinforce the transmission tunnel, plus the gap between front and rear door is a good 6ft, so would need a very substantial impact bar to take this, plus would it then fit under the car without having to raise the suspension ?. It looks cool but not with the number of "bricks on wheels" around.  :(

a nice piece of engineering ,can it be done on 4 doors ,because the cars shown all look to be coupe's
