Gasket for saloon GPS antenna
« on: 19 September 2020, 14:03:47 »

Has anyone ever located one of these?

Typically there are hundreds available for the estate GPS base and the standard phone aerials but none that I can find for the smaller saloon GPS / GSM (As fitted to the Saloon Elite) base.

I know you could smear some black silicone around it but would prefer the proper gasket

You could cut one out of thin rubber sheet or closed-cell foam which looks much better than silicone. Both of which are very handy to keep for this sort of job. I bought the rubber for making door handle gaskets which weren't available for our 40 year old cars....
