My television seems to be well and truly donald ducked.......We have had it since 2002.....so I suppose it is only to be expected. :-/ :-/ :-/
When I switch it on........an orange/yellow mist slowly moves in from the right of the screen before covering it completely....
Does anyone know of any good offers available at the moment? .....£500 is my limit....

I'm not a fan of Tesco .........but they sent me a voucher through the post.....Spend £30.....get £10 off.
So I purchased three large packs of bottled Stella(24x330 ml)...for exactly £10 each.....this cost me £20 in total with the voucher..
If my maths is correct (a big if
) this works out at 84p a litre......or 48p a pint.

I've just returned from Kwik-Fit.....where I had an oil and filter change. Six litres of Mobil semi-synthetic......and a fresh filter for £29.95...not too bad I think.
The manager stated that the idle speed was too low at about 500/550 r.p.m.......he suggested it should be about 850 r.p.m. Does anyone care to comment?.

......of used motors. What would you choose?.
With family in mind.....a nice early plate Monaro or 5 litre V8 BMW M5 would suffice......But should I let my heart rule my head (which I usually do)....then I rather fancy an early TVR Chimaera.....a nice big woofly V8.....no airbags .....no ABS.....no ESP....nice very nice.

Interest rates have been held at 0.5% for another month.
Growth is weak.....but inflation is creeping up. .......a period of Stagflation looms.

I keep thinking that my Star Silver Omega would look great with a black vinyl roof. I'm old enough to remember that the Mk1 Capri 3000E...... and the MK111 Cortina 2.0 GXL from the early seventies came with a black vinyl roof...... and I always thought they looked good.

Can anyone tell me why the images produced by CCTV on Crimewatch are all so piss poor?
Presumably... these CCTV systems cost mega bucks.... but the end result is usually some grainy blurred picture....that could be anything....Any ideas?
