Title: Chris Froome
Post by: ronnyd on 22 July 2013, 16:50:54
Just to say very well done to the lad last night, always thought he was stronger than Wiggo last year.
Nice touch to see all the team arrive at the line together. Great support from Ritchie Porte as well. :)

He did very well, last year in being the team player in supporting Wiggins and this year for taking the opportunities to build a lead and also being very appreciative of the support from his team.  :y

Hopefully, it will be the first of several.  :y

If Wiggins and Froome are both fit next year it would be good to let the best win to finally settle that argument about who is the best. Personally, I think it would be very close, with Wiggins probably the slight faster time trialist and Froome the slightly better climber. It will partly depend on next year's route, but Frome would probably build a bigger time advantage in the mountains.

God help us all. We are now going to have all the arogant lycra boyz riding 3 abreast, trying to claim the moral highground when they have an Omega rammed up their arse.

Something happened between last years tour and this, between Wiggins and Froome. Initially Wiggins vowed to return Froomes support by supporting Froom this year.
Wiggins later seemingly changed his mind and said he wanted to win the tour again this year. They never spoke again, apparently.

Why did Wiggins change his mind?

There you go Mr Opti I've fixed that for you. Our bodies produce plenty of chemical from what we eat.  :o :P ;D

Some of which are flammable and in high enough concentrations can be explosive. Ask...  :-X :-X :-X ;D
