Maybe at some point in the future the stealth L.E.D. strobes might find their way behind that grill along with the 'wig-wam' flashing main beam and fog lights  ;)

Even when I'm on the A2 near me people slow right down and creep past me having a look in the car! ha ha! The tinted rear makes it look much more un-marked Police car  8-)

Well that was a long 3 weeks!  Way back in August!  Well i have the suspension, ive fitted it and i am over the moon with it!!  It has transfomed the ride and the handling of the car!  8) 8)

After a couple of photoshops of how i wanted it to look:

Too low!  Looks good, but function over form!

And just right for me:

Any problems with all them speed bumps over your way?

Nah not really, sometimes get caught out on those square bumps but otherwise it's fine.

Looks good, Wouldn't like the suspension that low myself with speed humps etc. :o But visualy looks great bet she handles well too  :y

Post by: P6UL K on 28 May 2013, 16:45:18
TBH I don't really have any issues with speed humps... Does handle ok, springs on the front need to be a slightly harder poundage but otherwise she's a-ok!  8)

Good eve,

Its come to my attention tonight that I have done a fair few bits & pieces and I've not really updated my thread with many pictures.... So, get a cuppa and some biccies and enjoy THIS! ha ha  ;D

I (quite a while ago now) had some replacement suspension made by a local company to me 'Gaz' to my specifications and it turned out rather good  8)  You'll see in the first photo one of my rear, knackered self-levelling rear shocks had completely rusted in to two!

A few months ago I thought I'd have a go at a track day up at RAF Marham in Norfolk, it certainly taught me a thing or two!! The Omega is NO track car! ha ha!! But i had a good chuckle and certainly gave the crowd a laugh! I tried to prep the car as well as i could, stud conversion, EBC Yellows up front and Reds at the rear, Goodridge brake lines with 5.1 fluid... Also removed the rear hubcentric adapters....

So, after doing the track day my exhaust was really starting to show its age and was blowing left, right & centre so i booked her in for a nice new shiny stainless steel system to be made up by a highly recommended company in Maidstone...

Pictures show how 'exhausted' my old system was and then the making of the replacement  8)

Those shots of it where its sitting REALLY low are from the track day, due to the space available in her, I was nominated to carry all & sundries fuel, trolley jacks, tool boxes, axle stands! You name it - It was in the boot!

Title: Dyno Dynamics Rolling Road results....
Post by: P6UL K on 11 August 2013, 12:22:33
Me & my mates organised a rolling road session at our local dyno... For what is effectively a 10yr old car, 172k on the clock and had very minimal mods I'm very pleased with the results!

Running a little rich but that's prob down to the V-Max fuel and the map not being suited to it, overall very chuffed!!  8)

Sounds good Paul, you have spacers then?, are they H&R or Eibach?

I'd seen some 20mm per side H&R's on amazon for 80 odd quid.

What's on yours again?

I'm not sure on the make tbh, i know they're hubcentric on the back end.... 20mm on the rear and 5mm on the front.
