First thing I'd do is either put the cone filter in the bin, or build a proper air box for it, or even go back to standard. Must be sucking up a whole bunch of hot air!

Then I'd cage it properly and have it for drift and track days - it's one thing me and a mate are considering as a project next year.

You could do with a plastic scuttle panel for it if you havent already got one. It will get very wet under the bonnet and soak your ignition components when it rains otherwise.

OK, so the door handles and door mirrors look the same, but still don't think any of the panels are the same.

Look at the back of the rear side window - and the C pillar.
I agree, they look similar, but I don't think the same.
The Commodore is bigger than an Omega.

You can see they have the same DNA, in a cousins type of way!

actually pedro the man has a point, the commodore is wider but i think they're the same floor pan or something/chassis but i think the commodore has a bigger subframe at the front supporting the engine on very similarly if not identically placed engine mounts as per ls1's etc

I'm pretty sure I'm right to say that the floorpan is completely different as the gearbox used by Holden is physicaly bigger and the rear axle mounts differentlyto the Opel.

OK, so now I'm clutching at straws cos my powers of recall have faded, somewhat. My memory is OK, it all goes in, but......... :-[
