As above, Indian call centres have worked out how to spoof telephone numbers.

Don't trust any incoming call. The number may say MyBank, but it probably isn't.

Without more information, I think it'll be difficult to price a car.

Pretty much any car with a long MOT (or whatever it's called in Ireland) would be minimum £250. The upper limit depends on the mileage, condition and other factors. If it's a good car, then I would argue what their price is up, based on the fact it's difficult to get a car in such a condition anymore (if true, expand into how long you where looking, how many you went to see etc; ). I also can not account for the price differences where you are, as I have no local history.

Another key point to remember, based on what you said, he came into your lane. It's not your fault. Therefore, your insurance company should help you fight for more money, as they don't have to pay for it. You're happier, they have a happier customer - it's a win win.

Correct, but I was mistaken on the day of the alleged offence, it was the Monday. One more day to go.

Are you sure?  ;D Your story, sorry, record of events keeps changing.

If you get a Jag, it has to be the R-Sport model.

Nothing brings a smile to so many faces as an MOT tester saying your R-Sport has failed on emissions  ;D

SDL (A motor factors) used to produce their own exhausts and weren't too bad on price.

Without full details of the car, it's difficult to be certain but....
Backbox
Centre

I haven't really dug around too much, but the above is £175, it maybe able to find it cheaper if I had more time.

... which I think is beyond the threshold to be offered a patronisation course.

It depends on the force. The highest is 10% + 9mph. So 42mph in a 30 and that'll be a certain 42, not an indicated 42. I don't know what the lowest is and I seem to remember 1 police force refuses to say publically.

Net Zero. Is that like the Internet without the sugar? (Thinking Coke Zero)

At least we have Marzipan to entertain us!

I'll just leave this here.  ;D

'Time since last spin'  :D

I have to say, based on his previous antics, I expected more from Hazaspin. Still there is plenty of time to go.

General Discussion Area / Re: PC Components (Shortages)
« on: 20 April 2021, 11:43:48 »
Factories have slowed down or shut. People are at home, not going out and not having anything to buy. Some of those people will hit PC gaming hard. Hence it's driven the demand up. Add to that people working from home, thus buying more kit and you can see why some stuff is out of stock.

I will say, I've order 2 x 4 lots of PC's in the last 3 weeks and haven't struggled for components.

If you are interested, try www.scan.co.uk

GPU's are high in demand for several reasons. Gaming, crypto and of course, the latest buzzword, AI.

It's long been known that if you have Bluetooth or Wi-Fi enabled on your phone, it's been used to track you around shops/shopping centres. This has been going on for years. Why do you think they now offer you 'smart shopping' (Handheld scanner to scan the stuff you put in your bags)? It's so they have a better way to track you around the store.

One thing to remember when dealing with companies like Facebook, if they offer no discernable product/service, then you are the product. They offer you free usage of their systems in return for a profile they have about you.

Is it just me that unplugs the grinder and uses the disc as leverage to undo/do up the nut?

I didn't think electrical components were guaranteed? I seem to remember a lot of places won't take back an electrical part. They claim you've swapped the part/fitted it incorrectly/damaged it/faulty wiring and will wriggle out of swapping it.

So good luck!

Levis never made jeans in even sizes. 29, 31 waists & buy them a size big as they always shrank.

??? Are you sure? The last Levi's I bought were even sizes. I'm pretty certain they are genuine, as I bought them from the Levi store on the outskirts of LA.
