Normally they push you to wait for the seller to respond. Of course, you may not have been the first complaint about this seller.

I went into the online chat to ask if there was an alternative. I was told no. I explained, there are plenty of options for selling that don't charge let alone ask for unrestricted access to my bank account.

You need a bank account attached to sell on there now. It's not fully in force yet, but I've already stopped selling. At the moment, I'm checking prices on eBay and then buying stuff from elsewhere. Or alternatively, if it's something like a used car part, most sellers are businesses, so I look up the name of the business and contact them directly. Often it's cheaper too.

It's always good to hear that they solved problems. Now if they'd let me use my account without me giving them unrestricted access to my bank account, I might consider returning.

Ok, I will start by saying not safe for work. although it is a news outlet.

This had me chuckling and all the references in the article, just add to the value.

Cul-de-sac looks a .....

KY is definitely water based. You are thinking of Vasoline, which is oil based.

Given the main use of KY, I'd prefer it wasn't a petrol based product.

"Would you like to join the army?"
"I'd rather die"
"We can help with that."

We have just eat in little old Barnsley, but I wouldn't put the stuff they deliver in my mouth.

Yes......What have teenage delivery boys been touching before they touch your pizza. ;D

I think you have to pay extra for that.

How did you pay?

Credit card or PayPal, you've got protection, if Just Eat try and avoid it. You do have cover with debit cards, but less so.

General Car Chat / Re: Car Cleaning - Dash Board

I understand the words 'dash board' but, 'car cleaning' does not compute.

You can use most things, furniture polish is fine, but spray the cloth and work it in the cloth a bit before applying to dash.

Looks about right for the bolts.

Why aren't you reusing them?

This. Clean them up, re-thread lock and torque to spec. Also, if you're going to this much trouble, why not change the nipple too? Also make sure you have a nipple cover, it helps to stops them rusting in

Technically, you'll also find them on the rear.

Try Bigg Red. Then probably be able to help with banjo and washers, but probably not the carrier to hub bolts.

General Discussion Area / Re: Birmingham Clean Air zone
« on: 01 June 2021, 12:01:23 »
Comparing the Birmingham not so stealth tax with London, the difference is, in London, you need to move around, sometimes that is by car. If you live around Birmingham, you can choose to go somewhere else and it's not a massive inconvenience. The audience up here is no where near as captive. Also, people are tighter with money up here.

Why pay the council £8 to drive on the roads you already pay for when you can go to Solihull and basically get a free lunch on the money you saved.

I don't think northerners will accept it anywhere near as much as London did and I really hope that is the case, before we see this everywhere.

Just to clarify, by 3D gaming, I presume you mean virtual reality? As most games are 3D.
