Went to look at a C43 AMG today in Norwich supposedly 2 owners with full history , not for me but for a mate of mine a complete & utter waste of time & fuel ,history was sketchy budget tyres on a performance car a definite no no as far as I am concerned , looked & sounded good in the ad but  anyone could tell from the tripe the owner talked he didn't have a clue only consolation a good steak meal on the way home. I got fed up with the number of times the owner referred to it as "mint" so pointed to my Merc and said that's mint yours is s**te , he seemed upset, truth hurts I suppose..

The groom at a Norfolk wedding hammered at his fathers front door at 3 oclock in the morning on his wedding night. Dad answered the door and asked him why he wasn't with his new bride on his wedding night. the groom said "Dad, she,s a virgin".
Dad replied "You get in here boy. If she aint good enough for her own family, she certainly aint bloody good enough for ours".  :D ;D

It be fenland. Not much to do in the fens, except molest your sister/mother/daughter.

Well Surrey today, found a mint C 36 AMG 15 MB stamps every service bill  & MOT   deposit paid  collecting it Saturday , lovely metallic dark blue & 1 well to do owner from new, put a few miles on my E class the last few days, but have enjoyed the search.

That's a good engine, larger version of the 24v 3.2 straight six... Rarer than the C43, but arguably the better car... ;)

Does drive & sound very nice 93,000 miles but fully documented prefer the extra room in my E class but confident my pal has got a good one.

Yes, but he has now retired from his business & wants a hobby always had nice vehicles but just neglected them due to lack of time & just changed them when they started to play up, since seeing my Merc decided he wanted an older car  to spend time on  & for the occasional blast to Spain  where he has a holiday home  , he has already arranged for the C36 to be thoroughly checked by a specialist I use & for any faults to be rectified something he has never done before, so hopefully he will care for it.

His new found enthusiasm will be short lived. :D


A C32 would make a good choice. Supercharged I think, and pretty rare.

Picked it up this morning ,great drive home  handles well nice responsive engine couldn't find anything wrong with it  major service in July last year , plenty of history lots spent on it over the years & full stainless exhaust system fitted 18 months ago  . Hope he looks after it.
