Have managed to kill both front tyres since Christmas >:(

Front suspension now in bits awaiting lower arm ball joints...

There are a couple of positives to this enforced night off... both front tyres are equally/evenly screwed and I get to start on my liquid Christmas present... a bottle of Honey JD :y

You had a reason  :o  :P ;D I should add, thinking is not on my 'to do' list ::)

Guessing the Cav, because otherwise you would still need all your Omega bits...

I'm afraid I simply cannot get away from Cavaliers. I love em and they are an addiction. You might remember that the blue Cav was originally mine before I sold it to Albs. Nice to have it back, but sadly it will only be used for spares now.  :'(

Fixed it 8)  Rather Chris did ::)

New ball joints fitted, along with new track rods and drop links :y

Also replaced the softer poly flanges on the vertical bushes with 95 shore to match the main bush core, (those who know what are fitted should hopefully understand that). Result is a firmer, controlled ride, with pin sharp handling... Will report in full after a few miles :y

Just need the track rods tweaking to get the wheel straight ::)

Thanks again for your assistance Chris, I shall try not to break the car again in winter ;D

Photo taken a few years ago after returning from a week's hard graft at the Welland Steam Rally, Al :)

It'd also accomplished a 200-mile round trip to/from the event towing my trailer ...

... loaded with my quad-bike and all the equipment for our 'HQ' ...

... and ably piloted by Mrs Seth :o  Notice that dad1uk sort in the background! 8)

Fiddled about with it today and fixed the rear reversing light bulb fault, by linging up the pins on the bulb holder, so they actually fit between the lugs in the plug. Full brightness now. :)

Wyns lifter treatment in, and rainexed the widows after cleaning all the wax from the car wash off the glass. Always smears.
