Recon mine is a pre mini facelift model - 98R no steering wheel controls.

I have got the full size display. I can pick up the SC 804 for £20. The sony unit in it at the mo is pretty bad and the changer in the boot is a liability to any cd.

I have a decent head unit in my 205 which I can whip out, but as I am not sure I am going to sell the car now (it is just to much fun! ;D) I am reluctant to do so as I will probably end up replacing it.

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Vauxhall Stereo SC 804 CD

I am trying to get the information display working again on my refelection. I have 3 different stereo books from vauxhall (as well as a Nav system book, but I am sure the reflection doesn't have that!) I think the unit fitted was the SC 804 CD, before I go out and find one, can anybody let me know if

A - This is the right stereo
B - It might solve the display problem - it is currently dead! I understand it needs the stereo to work, but a the mo there are no reading on it at all. When I changed the stereo in my old vectra, you still got time and temperature.

Cheers

Just as well I haven't sold the 205 yet! My omega is a lemon - I have been given a list of work it needs that is approaching the £1000 mark. Bu**er.

I don't have anywhere to do the work on it myself and work has been no help in terms of space at the weekends, so, if anybody wants an omega for spares or repair it is mot, taxed  and can drive away! If anybody is interestead I will post what needs doing.

Next question - Anybody want to sell their Omega to me? I am looking for a 2.5 V6 manual  :y

Cheers for the welcome. Got to say I got it cheaper than the 2.0 cavaliers I was looking at so I am not suprised about it being an "economy" model! I got it for motorway driving, so providing it keeps going for the next year/ 20,000 miles recon it will have been a good buy. It would be nice to get the infomation display working though!

Evening all.

Just bought a '98 2.5 V6 reflection 110,000 miles.  I was hoping some one could give me some idea of the spec list. I have had a look about on the web and haven't found anything definite.

Probs I have with it - Hand brake very loose, multi-information display dead (it has a non vauxhall radio) other than that it seems, hopefully, all good.

Any information on type, equipment and problems would be greatly recieved!

BTW Anybody want a mint 205 1.9 gti?
