They were a good source of cheap 1275s for Minis. As long as they were cheap, because the correct diff usually cost as much as the complete engine.

Do they have the mesh that sits behind the headrests when the roof is down to stop the wind. If I drove our F33 BMW with the roof down without the mesh in place, the wind from behind was quite fierce. With the mesh flipped up it was like having the roof up, I couldn't believe the difference.  :y

I believe the earlier Boxster had a permanent perspex screen between the headrests :-\
