Went out to a breakfast meet at North Weald aerodrome this morning. While there, a Dakota and a spitfire took off making a pleasent change to the Cessnas etc. Took the long way home through some nice twisty and flowing back roads

The wheel is fine ;) It's the tyre bead that has failed.

I could see that .... my point was, that if a speed pillow could crack an alloy, then buggering up a tyre would be no problem  ;)

Received a little girlie motor yesterday for the daughter, who starts driving in October. Need time to get it to my standards and go over it fully.

Been nice working on a car again.

Collected the 300c from the local specialist where its had a glow plug replaced before the winter comes, £57 fitted. For that money I'm not risking snapping one!  8)

Drove it up to North Yorkshire....again. The first time we came up, about three weeks ago, the weather was very wet. So we're having a few days while the weather is fine.
