Wahed the Omega, then washed the Boxster, then had a nap for an hour.  ;D

Added the last bits for the adaptive cruise control. Just needs coding to the car.

Ran the body harness for the towbar, and whilst the boot was apart, identified a leak in the seat pneumatic system... new connector on order, and finally connected the battery vent pipe.

Took the opportunity to remove, disassemble, clean and rebuild the amplifier for the HK system in a vain attempt to identify/solve a fault which occasionally makes it switch on via a single, unfiltered channel. Didn't make a jot of difference, but equally, didn't make it worse :-X

Not sure I'd be wanting to see that currently, given the stupid price of tyres.  Even the fronts for mine are looking the wrong side of £250 a pop :(

Err - you've obviously never seen my car. Showroom it ain't. Used and abused it is.

Given that the size (265-40-17) is now discontinued by everyone, and these are my last pair from my stash, I don't think that's a particularly good idea.

I suspect the rears for mine will be the wrong side of £300 nowadays, given the price of the fronts....    ...but tyre prices sometimes pleasantly surprise :)

Having all four wheels the same size helps somewhat. ;)

That's a fair point, it was more of the notion of seeing it do it rather than necessarily the doing of it ;)

The fronts on the F-type are about £200 for a top brand, rears are £300
