I think she is trying to apologise for being partly responsible for breaking two of the last three.

She tells me that she still thinks I'm a bastard......just her kind of bastard. :)

It's a Lenovo Yoga 7i.

All I know is that it has an 11th generation intel i7 processor and 512 SSD.....because it says so on the box. ;D

It seems ok.

don't forget the SSD you just fitted to your now dead laptop can be removed and used as back-up storage if you fit it in a USB enclosure

The 1 TB of SSD was for Mrs Opti's computer.......cost around £80 but made a huge difference to how quickly it responded.

My old laptop has 256 GB of SSD, but I think this may be f*ucked as I couldn't get it to boot up. :y

The 256GB SSD is M2 2280 if that means anything significant.

Thats not an SSD, but an M.2 drive.  M.2 is generally faster, but only fits M.2 slots.  SSD is a little slower, but can actually replace a hard disk.

According to a label on the bottom of my laptop it's a Lenovo G550 with a model name of 2958 all this ssd stuff means absolutely nothing to me.
