Looking at the next interior project. I would like a single-DIN stereo that does USB (to the rear if possible) and preferably Android, so I can pop such delights on as Waze, and pornography.

To make it a bit better for driving with I would like one with a pop-out screen, that folds away when I'm not using it, and looks at least vaguely OEM or subtle.

Most of the ones I've seen so far have either had more naff lights qnd cheap looking tack than Blackpool... Or cost over a million pounds.

Any ideas for one that won't cost the earth, before I go to Plan B and fit the Pioneer SPH with the pop out phone holder?

JVC KD-X561DBT ticks most boxes and will take a reversing camera for sub £180. No fold out screen, but does have a screen on the front.

Have a Sony XAV 8050D in The Barge, although the dash is more favorable as the screen doesn't fold, and at its upper mounting position it covers the original built in radio, so actually looks ok. May obscure the buttons either side though as it's a 10.1" screen.

Further to this. I still haven't got the car, and God knows I've got a hundred more important things to pay for... but I've found on EvilBay that there are several VX-shaped, Android units. I suspect they won't work in an Omega as they're all mentioning "plug and play" and Canbus... but might it be doable with an adapter lead, I wonder...

Your better off going for a single din which will be cheaper and have all the media options.
Single din slide out screens, budget ones are naf and mechanism rarely lasts long, unless you go for a known brand but then be paying alot for it.
Double dins an option and have most of todays media options.
Personally depending on your preference your better off with a branded single/double din as they are reasonably priced and will have all media playing features.

Hence my two suggestions 

Down load the installation manual for the Sony one to give you scope of fitment... It has various height and tilt options
