               I had a Corsair 1500 GT. threw a rod on the A470.  Done a the same on that road with a Triumph 2.5 PI.

My eldest son is named after Lewis Collins; I loved him!

As for the Capri.....

They seemed great programmes back then Lizzie,I also enjoyed the Sweeney but watching them now they seem pretty poor in the acting department.

Yep, but the 1970’s was a naff decade anyway, so like the cars and the country we just accepted the tosh.  Mind you, it now seems The Sweeney was spot on about the flying squad, but without the corruption!
