First of all, I'd like to thanks James, Jamie and Tunnie for their help with this vehicle...it has been much appreciated.
I've decided to now sell this vehicle, this time I haven't got fed up of it...but need the money back out of it.
The details are;
'OY02 VTL' - As seen in Road Wars
126,000 miles
2002 '02' Vauxhall Omega 3.2 V6 Special Manual.
Presented in Nocturno blue with charcoal texas cloth.
3.2 engine producing 211 BHP
5 speed manaal transmission with LSD (working)
Xenon headlights with dynamic beam levelling and headlight washers
Front fog lights
Switchable traction control
16'' CDX alloy wheels
Has cruise control stalk but not functioning, dual zone climate (as all facelifts do) TID display.
What's wroing with it?
Well, it has an idle issue...at idle it missfires on 1-3-5 but when driving it's fine...some members can confirm it goes well
This issue is not plugs, coil pack, there's good compression...possibly a lambda issue
1 tyre is ok, the other three need replacing
The clutch works, it doesn't slip...but will need replacing as it makes a racket. When clutch is depressed there is no noise, but when at idle and clutch pedal not touched you can her a noise, but still drives fine.
This vehicle has no RFL and no MOT.
It will not pass an MOT until the idle issue is rectified, that's it's only failiure point. The lambda readings are too high after 2nd fast idle.
I will happily deliver the vehicle if needed
Bodywork condition is very good actually, mark to N/S corner of bumper.
This vehicle owes me £750 plus £24 for new coolant and air filter, thus making that £774.
Ideally, I'd like that for it but am willing to take a loss.
For reference, a '53' ex police Omega saloon in white, ex TVP sold for £670 on ebay with 162,000 miles with damage to the whole N/S of the vehicle.
I will upload better photo's ASAP.
