To be fair he's had quite a lot to grapple with over the last couple of years, and also having babies in your mid fifties. Those sleepless nights!

It's the first job he's ever had where results matter, and he's held responsible for any failures. And it turns out that being a well thought of leader is harder than it looks and takes real talent. On top of all that, his bumbling posh boy schtick no longer works.

Same as any politician really muddle their way through "jobs for the boys" a few jaunts to different parts of the world all expenses paid nice pension at the end of it, any wonder none of them give a monkeys about the rabble.

Breaking news this evening that Lord Frost has resigned over the political direction of Johnson's government.

Boris's back is truly up against the wall now and unless he really pulls rabbits out of the hats, can't have much longer left.

I suspect like Brexit Ministers before him he was being undermined by Boris, Rishi and others in his quest to reorganise the Northern Ireland Protocol.

Although he has consistently threatened to invoke Article 16 of the NIP, I expect he was held back and the EU knew that. 

For example Anne Marie Trevelyan the International Trade Secretary said the other day that A16 wouldn't be invoked before Christmas, which was probably less than helpful and there have been reports that Rishi Sunak was against invoking A16, whether true or not, someone in the Treasury briefed this to the media.

And with the current 'emergency' measures, how long would it take for him to carry on where he left off?

And how horrific would that adjustment be given the time passed since we escaped the clutches of Ton E B Liar and his inumerate accountant?

The US comparison doesn't bode well given the level of upheavals caused by Sippy Cup doing nothing except trying to erase any evidence of Trumps' presidency. And he was only in office for four years... 

If Ton E B Liar does stick his head over the parapet, hopefully someone will give him a shove.
