At about 12.30 today I put the wifes Audi in the Autotrader £25 for a week in the mag and two weeks on the net. I also drove it 200yds to a pub car park which is on one of the main roads out of Northwich and stuck a for sale sign in the window. There are a few cars for sale in the car park so I thought I would give it a try. At 2.50 the phone rings "how much for the car mate" £1200 I said and asked where he had seen it "on the car park" came the reply. Turns out the lad was on his way to Stoke to look at a BMW 316 when he saw the Audi so after a quick test drive and a bit of banter he crossed my palm with silver and drove off 
Quickest car I have ever sold, only problem now is the phone will be ringing for the next couple of weeks. Result

I know some people that have been trying to sell there car for months without sucess.
