Facelift Colour Navigation question
« on: 30 May 2008, 16:33:16 »

has anyone ever come across a facelift colour navigation system displaying NAVI INACTIVE in the top left corner?

Why ?

Is it just missing a map disc ?

Cheers

Cheers Danny, that then makes this seem extremely dodgy ?

cant see what's dodgy about it, just means he isnt using it at the moment. it only says navi active once you press the nav button and plan your routes and stuff. looks like he's took the screen and ncdc2013 out of an elite

odd to have colour sat nav in GLS, retro fit.

if it stays below £1,200, worth buying it, taking it and selling it again!

Quite a nice motor though. That mark on the bumper will probably t-cut out and I don't know why but loads of migs seem to have marks above the numberyplate!?!

Will be a bit underspecced if you're used to a CDX!

Wow! You get a stero and a heater, that's amazing.

Look at all those blanked out buttons, that's just silly.

As for the Sat-Nav. Mine always says Nav inactive unless I happen to switch it on when I'm going somewhere I don't know how to get to. As TB pointed out, what is more concerning is that the "GPS" in the top right is red. This looks to me like he's bought the NCDC2013 and the screen but hasn't got the correct GPS reciever component in the base of the stubby GSM aeriel on the roof.

That car has a bee-sting aeriel. Therein lyeth the problem methinks.

Aye, no heated seats, no alarm, no front fogs, no trip, no cruise, no traction etc etc etc. Strangely though, I quite like the plain grey interior style of a GLS, nice.

I have to agree with you there, much better than the fake wood or fake alloy of the higher spec models.

I've painted my fake wood Elite facia and centre console a matt black, but I'm still on the look out for the genuine GLS parts in good nick.
