Been there, done that. Then wondered why I bought a sports saloon if I'm going to drive it like it's a Toyota Pious.

Agreed.

27 miles  is more than enough and it will never be used again. 

It's worse than owning a diesel car.

It shows what can be achieved with a light right foot, although it is boring.

In Eco Pro mode the throttle response is laggy and kickdown reluctant.

I also think it cuts back on the output of the AC system.

Very true.....but you could live another 2 or possibly 3 years, and you want to enjoy yourself before the big fella upstairs comes for you.

What happens in the London Mayoral election would have no bearing on whether I enjoy myself, if I wanted to, which I don't

Being an old bastard can be a good thing at times.

Can't wait until I'm 34 and can get cheap insurance!                                                       

After you reach a 'certain age', they hammer you again.

By the time I get to that stage they'll probably be routinely euthanising people of a 'certain age' so I won't have to worry about my car insurance.

No but our shiny new progressive Labour Govt will bring it in, and by the time I get to a certain age they'll be offering euthanasia as a cure for the common cold or anything that makes you a mild inconvenience.
