Hello all my beloved 2.5 V6 has ended up in the scrappers (god bless her soul) after being written off while parked up of all cases (pics to follow). She had 150 on the clock but was still going strong I would requrie your assistance in hunting down a Elite model either 2.5 or 2.6 on a year 2000, with all the trimmings and with budget of around £700. I know its a tall order have been looking online and have seen some but time I get around they have been sold  >:(

Any help would be great as love the omega's this car this will be my third.

Omega General Help / Ecu knackered?????
« on: 08 October 2012, 21:25:22 »
Hi the car conked out today. Aa came and didn't have a clue the guy was grumpy and could be asked. Any way I ran the paper clip test and code 31 55 56 came out looking on here code 55 is ecu replacement. Only thing is it will start up sometimes. The ecu light will not come on with the key on position two sometimes, sometimes it will come on. It I'd best just to get a ecu or do further investigation. Thanks in advance.

Omega General Help / Tappets or lifters noise ???
« on: 12 March 2011, 14:14:48 »
Hi all need some help I drove my v6 to near 6000 rpm and all of a sudden there was a loud tapping noise. I was about a mile from home so I drove like miss daisy. In the morning I started her up hoping it was an electrical fault but to my luck it wasn't  :'( when I start her ther is a loud ticking noise from the front cams on the right bank when standing in front of the car. She has been parked up for about 3 months with the occasional start up. Could this be a oil pump or blockage issue, I have done the paper clip test and nothing came up ie ne sensors. Before she was parked up she had a service and I do Change it regularly. Any help would be appreciated
