Total closure module...
« on: 14 January 2014, 20:21:36 »

On my Vectra B I fitted a total closure module, so when I deadlock the car it would close all open windows and the sunroof too... what Im wondering is, can it be transferred over onto my Omega....? If it can, would it be the same wires that are connected on the Vectra (my thinking is the colour of the wiring in GM cars is  for generic.... i.e Brown for earth/chassis and red is permanent +12V and Black is switched ignition live)..... would it be at all posiible following the same colour codes from the Vectra over onto the Omega... and where would the central locking module be located.... its located behind the drivers footwell kick plate in the Vectra....

Any help most appreciated :)

Omega has this function already  or is it model specific maybe  :-\

When you lock the car with the fob, hold the button down - don't release straight away  :y

No bother  :y
Not sure about your other audio / stereo queries though.  It does seem that the Omega is unique in many respects  :-X

Yes, sorry. The switch from the Vec. Bose is the main issue obviously,

You can also do the same with the key in the door lock... just turn it to lock and hold it there.

Yep tries both ways for the total closure, works with holding the key and holding the lock button on the fob... The module I have is as soon as I deadlock the car it closes all open windows and the sunroof if that is open too.... basically a fire anf forget type of mod... which I prefer TBH.... I presume the central lpcking module for the Omega is behind the drivers kick panel...?
