A rear taillight connecter block
(With 5 or 10 inches of wiring if possible)
Mine seems to be playing up so want to splice new one in

Omega General Help / Facelift estate rear light bulbs

Can u help me with bulb types on rear lights. Facelift estate $:-\$
Drivers side shorted out so I swapped and mixed up bulbs
Can someone help

Top 4. Brake ? Type of bulb
3. Indicater.
2. Reverse
1 - bottom. Side/fog light. Type

I have got 2 circuit boards coming just need bulb types as I cannot
Find owners manual

Omega General Help / Brake pad sensors

I will be changing the front discs/bads on my facelift mv6
Are there sensors on both sides and can I use pad sensors again.

Omega General Help / No more misfire - now car stalling on pull away

Last week car had a misfire and came up with code 19

Changed coil pac / leads / plugs and crank sensor. And this cured the misfire
I was told there was no oil in plug well

Car now seems to stall on tickover
When driving it seems ok

Car is 3.0 with LPG and auto gearbox. (125000) I think more when
warm than cold but will have too check this

Any suggestions

Omega General Help / V6 - 3.0 misfire /rough running

Fault started yesterday

Rough running / misfire on start up and when running

Paper clip test done running. Code 1-9 only

Me think coil pack?

Car has done 125000.

Any other suggestions

Omega General Help / Would these wheels fit facelift mv6 estate

Am looking at a set of wheels.

2x 8,5x17 ET 30 235/45 R17

2x 9,5x17 ET 30 255/40 R17

Would these fit straight on or would I need spacers?

Any advice would be great

Omega General Help / 3.0 v6 ( lpg) misfire/lumpy tickover

Hi - my 3.0 v6 with lpg (2000) has started to misfire.
it has a slightly lumpy idle and can be heard misfiring on tickover.
2 days ago it started to develop a stutter when driving - which would
cure itself after a few seconds, sometimes it revs normally other times
stutters and then goes. (this is on both petrol and lpg).

I have done a paper clip test and, with engine off is showing code 3-1
it goes through the 1-2 start up then gives 3-1 and then end 1-2?
31 No Engine RPM Signal - is this correct?

only other thing that has been done to car recently is I had a cat back stainless system
fitted which was bought off another OOF member (sounds great)

can anyone suggest anything?

Omega General Help / seats - mfl to facelift

There are a set of mv6 seats that I would like to fit to my facelift mv6

can anyone tell me if there are any pitfalls to this (eg airbags ect) and
is there any way around the heated seat problem.

I have been told the the MFL seat heaters are on or off and I know the facelift heaters
are 1-5

is there any way around this?

any help would be gratefully appreciated.

General Car Chat / help - above and beyond call of duty

Just like to to thank RobseyMV6 for doing cam belt and water pump

I thought I had cam belt problems tuesday

and RobseyMV6 came and fitted
kit yesterday - came to my house (40+miles as I did not want to drive if the cam belt was about to fail) and fitted even though heavy frost on ground and freezing cold

Omega General Help / cruise control fittment on pre facelift

I finally got round to fitting the cruise on my facelive mv6 3.0 today
(followed guide from forum)

fitted the stalk / brake switch (4 pin) with no prob but had trouble fitting the actuator
due to fittement of lpg

I had a man fit it - just under/side of air box and all connected up but
cruise does not work
have check fuse 15 is working as all other electrical items on fuse work

one thing I noticed was that the wiring loom is quite tight/stretched
when connected to actuator

any ideas?

Omega General Help / Load knocking noise when steering

firstly happy new year to all.

I have heard and felt a knocking from what appears to be steering.

I took to local garage who put up on ramp and looked and listened for
10-15 mins and only thing found was drivers side track rod needs replacing.
noise stopped when no weight was on front wheels. $:-\$

any suggestions

can anyone tell me if thereare any mechanics in the south east
who would be willing to fit a cruise control to my MV6
(w reg 2000 with 3.0 ltr petrol)

I have bought the relevent parts off a member in this forum
but ideally would like someone with mechanical knowledge to fit for me (with suitable financial recompence).

I would be willing to travel to have this done.
