Even in limp, I ensure I'm doing the speed limit at all times, assuming the idiots in front will discover the right hand pedal.

Before I became a reformed character, I knew at 70-80, it was just coming on song in limp mode, and would easily sail through instant ban territory.

I can honestly say that I've never attempted more than 3/4 of its limited speed when in limp....

                 Just for the record the 8 speed 3ltr twin turbo diesel will indeed have no trouble exceeding 170, once it’s had a couple of choice amputations, new inlet manifolds, decent intake, an increase of boost, delimited, and a good mapping.   Err, don’t ask me how I know👍

The idiot who designed the PSA/Ford 3l V6 diesel used in French shit, American shit and Indian shit.  And then the idiot who signed off fitting said engine in said Indian shit.
