If anyone is breaking a F/L I would like to get my alarm reactivated on my 3.2 special please.
Both blue plastic plugs that take the divers heated seat switch and double blue alarm/boot opener, along with as much wiring as possible, both were deactivated by police when fitting special equipment.
A very long shot here, Thames Valley Police fitted a metal centre control panel that replaced the front ashtray and radio aperture to take switches and key pad! I have tried all the specialised radio dealers & also various Police associated Clubs with no joy!

If your switch isn't working could be the Police fitted Relay is faulty or missing, sits behind the light switch, pull the big Half Moon cover off the drivers side Dash and have a looked should be marked 'Boot Mod' from memory (allows the Boot to open instantly with the Ing. Key in).
If the Metal Panel your talking about is Black with Q Max holes in it, may have one somewhere if I haven't binned it.

You will probably need a new plastic cage that holds the radio and ashtray aswell, they get cut up to take the comms junk.

Just had another look at the cut wiring & I made a mistake! its the 'Traction Control' and 'Heated drivers seat that need to be patched up! cut to short to the plug to re-connect, alarm does not work also, but will have to have a look at the relay, thanks Zirk. If you need a photo of the said plate I can post one up of the interior with it in situ!
It is my intention to show as a TMP traffic car, as I'm a member of PoliceCar UK, so I need Comms Junk, BG.

Yea post a Pic, the Panel I may still have was found in the boot of an ex TVP.
Might also be worth having a chat with Josh, He may have some bits hanging arround.
If your 3.2 is a new addition might be worth checking the rear Fogs work as well, I had a Ex DPG that was out off service for a few years but then failed the Mot for no rear Fogs, turned out the wiring was butchered from day one from the Police so was scratching the head trying to work out how it passed since then.
Got a box of bits somewhere with some Tetra Airwave roof aerials that were Ex Plod or similar if that helps with the Project.
Thinking about it don't think I've had a ExPlod yet that's had the Alarm working, does it have a Bonnet Switch?

This is the most straight on photo I have from the web, and it may not be TVP but very similar.
Yes I am in contact with Josh, I will check rear fog lights when I have resembled dash. I have three base aerials fitted but no tops, so yes please, PM me with price please Zirk.
Alarm, I just thought it would be a good deterrent! and NO bonnet switch fitted.
WOW! not that much Birkhead, but enough to replace cut wires in block and solder to existing loom, please PM me with price.

Yea, the Panel looks similar to what I found, no lights or switches though just holes, I'll see if I can find it.
Bonnet Switch, didn't think it would be fitted, not sure if the ECU has been set for Alarm :-\

Ok, they look like Government Panorama Bases to me, the ones I have are Airwave Sigma Antennas so wont fit, the Sigma ones are screw on to the Base where as the Panorama will have Stub Fitments (push on then a Grub Screw to hold it).
Not a problem though cause I know how to get hold of some, Black or Crome Base and Whips? and how long do you want the whips? or if you let me know what Comms was fitted I can work out whip lengths for you.

Zirk, I may have a photo of an estate with correct Ariel's, Ill hunt it down. I do know that one is for a Nokia 2610 personal radio though which is dash mounted. Should all be black.
My apologies Brikhead, I Think I may just leave alarm as is, yes I have seen the saloons with rear wing aerials, but mine is an estate.

Had a good result today and obtained the Ariel's along with other bits for my project! ;D
