Today i drove to some of our favorite places, of course with the saloon, her favorite car. But her seat was empty.

Strange to sit alone by the little church on the mountain top, looking over the Rhine valley. Can not realize that we will never be there together again.

You will do that a lot (I know) and it will be SO bittersweet. Unfortunately, it will be far more bitter than sweet initially - but you need to do it.

Just over 3yrs ago I was where you are now,it is a hard walk but with the support of family/friends you will get through this.My thoughts will be with you tomorrow.Don't forget anytime you need to unburden yourself/gain a sympathetic ear there's always OOF to turn to.

Coming Friday at 10:00 i will carry her to her grave. We want a close and certain circle. Only the kids and me. I hope some friends from OOF will think of us.

It is our 21th wedding day.

Today i drove to one our favorite places. A little lake in the Rhine valley. Over the Black Forest in the east, there was a heavy thunderstorm, but in the west bright sunshine came from France. It gave the most beautiful double rainbow i ever saw.

That was for you little mouse.

I thought of you and your family this morning, Rolf. Out in the woods with my dog, wind howling, cold, teeming with rain. Seemed very apt somehow.
I cannot help but put myself in your position and I really don't know how I would cope.
