As the opposite of what has pissed me off...

Ordered a very expensive USB charger from the Gay of E at 7pm (Sunday).  Arrived by noon today (Monday).  Suitably impressed.
I'm finding a lot of ebay purchases are delivered quickly recently by Royal Fail ,some orders are being delivered by Amazon vans too  :o

It doesn't always go well though , I ordered a brand new 500 GB SSD , a crappy 1 TB spinny toshiba external drive arrived ,had to disk part clear it to get it recognised (to find out how old it was etc) 2019  >:(  complained and said send a refund ,but the seller insisted I return the crappy EWASTE  spinny drive  ::) which meant going to the post office  >:(

My experience of internet purchases is boring compared to some. I order something and it arrives. I know that sounds crazy but that’s just how it is.  ::)   :)
Same here  :)

Lidl and Aldi do often sell a selection of tools for breaking and entering, stealing catalytic converters , copper etc ,
and also a good selection of "stabbing each other" kit

they probably want you to struggle past them , so they can steal your wallet or purse, mobile phone  >:(

We used to occasionally like a relaxing walk round a car boot sale in the warmer months, but it's like walking round a dodgy market in a foreign country now that the tour rep said "don't go there"  :-X

Acquired 2 freebie logo puddle lights, so fitted them.  Made 3 further good ones from the pile of shite ones I had accumulated.

Oh, and put some electricity in it as it was dry.  Didn't really need it though.
Are all your car batteries in need of replacement ?  :-\
your cars seem to spend more time "on charge" than a tesla taxi  :P

The Rainsports on the rear of my V70 have done at least 30,000 miles, maybe nudging 40,000 and they still have 5-6mm!  :y
Further North we have Tarmac to drive on  ;)
it wears tyres out quicker  :D

I get about 20,000 miles, or 12 months, out of my tyres. Mid range American thingies. Hard to make the front wheels let go on an auto.

Not that I'd want to, of course.
The Astras don't do many miles , Mrs Builder drives like she stole it and gets similar wear to you , 20000 miles over 3 years
she's got Goodyear Vector 4 season gen 3 (about £80 a corner)
I'm not doing burn-outs or driving like a mentalist  :-\
my rear tyres don't last
(Hunter hawkeye checked not long ago, so it's not alignment issues)
I've tried all sorts of tyres too ,Pirelli P7, goodyear efficient grip  ,Avon zv7,roadstone eurovis sport,  DAVANTI DX390
so i'm NOT buying Goodyear Vector 4 season gen 3 for mine at £170 per corner  :o
