I've had to disconnect the parking sensors they have been more of a pain than their worth especially when their playing up,

All I get when I put it in reverse (either in an open space or in a close parking position) is a constant annoying beep and they only come on sometimes when they feel like it beeping like they should so i can't really trust it as it is. Would replacing the dead bumper sensor cure this  ???
