Post by: 2boxerdogs on 12 March 2019, 19:49:14
Last year £231 very good cover with LV, this year £220 with upgrade to courtesy car with equivalent size engine.
Happy with that 😁

I'm expecting my renewal from LV soon. I have pre-empted it with two quotes (Wifey and me) from the meercats. Both from AA and both cheaper than last year with LV.

Ours went from £410 to £424 with privilege  ::).

I left it because the car's going to be change in a month so I'll shop around then.

Had three claims over the last 20 years or so all paid promptly & with complete satisfaction with LV, so quite happy with their services & pricing with our vehicles , but for buildings & contents their prices seem exorbitant.

I've never had a claim. I thought the building and contents was ok, but I guess there's no harm in looking at that as well.

Its luck of the draw Tilbo.  I'm surprised my home insurance quotes come in so reasonable, given the fairly substantial claim on my history.

Yeah, and that was the only reason I was a CSMA member...   ...but I cancelled it because Frizzell/LV have never been anywhere near the right ballpark figure for me, and the stupid magazine they used to send was always able to make my blood pressure exploded.
