My timing belt kit needs doing but I'm on a very tight budget due to unemployment.

What the cheapest I'd be able to buy one for? I know you have to buy good quality but what's the cheapest I could get one for?

Omega General Help / Idler Arm

Hi all.

Been to see Serek to get my wheel bearing done and he did a brilliant job. (Thanks Serek)

He said I also need an idler arm and my MOT is due on 16th March. I don't know much about this part. How much do new ones cost? Could I buy a used one? Is it a big job to replace?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I need my rear wheel bearing changing. I was thinking of buying the part so I have it ready.

Where would be best to get one from, what's the best make and how much do they cost?

Euro car parts sell an SKF kit for £43.80? Would that be any good?

Hi all.

I was thinking about relocating to Cornwall due to the high costs of living where I am now. I have found a nice little house in Looe that's available for only £65 per week.

Just wondering whether any oofer's have any knowledge of what it's like to live there or Cornwall in general? I have been on holiday to Cornwall but never lived there before.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as this would be a really big move for me.

Hi  all.

Has anyone ever had this sort of insurance?

Is it a waste of money? I was considering it but don't want to throw money away. In my car's service record the belt was done at 121000 and the mileage is now 156000.

They stated that the omega belt change interval is 80000 but I thought it was 30000?

What's your opinion on this?

Hi all, thanks for all the great advice.

Today's worry is the cambelt. I've no idea when it was last replaced.

I was listening to the engine this morning and I thought it was a bit noisy where the belt is. Does this mean that the belt needs changing or am I being paranoid?

I rang my local garage and they said the job would be £234 plus VAT. Is this a good price or should I shop around?

If it wasn't for the oof I would never have bought another mig as they are too complicated for my little brain to cope with.

My speedometer isn't working. Are there any guides about this issue that I could have a look at? Or does any know how to fix it?
