I took the rad off and let it soak in rad flush overnight , then flushed ...quite dirty water came out . All put back together and took it for a run , temp sitting about 92 were as before it was 95 then 100 . Does that sound about right and hopefully the over heating issues are now sorted . I did push along at a fast pace to test and that didn't seem to alter anything temp wise :y

Sounds like a big improvement. I would keep an eye on it for a while just to make sure everythings ok. :y

Even the engine cooling fan is not cutting in were as before it would run on every run so yes does seem to have improved things . Ill let it cool down now then check water level ;)

Guess the real test will be in the summer , if it starts playing up again ill replace the water pump ;)

It would have been worth while either pressure washing it or blowing it with an air line from the back to front to remove any muck from the fins while it was out ;)

Be prepared to (possibly) replace the radiator in the near future. I had no luck flushing mine so bit the bullet and stuck a new one in ;)
