No job for a woman.

No job for a woman.
'dangle berries' ::)
I've still got a few mates in the Raf and everyone of them have said in the past that she is one hell of a good pilot regardless of what she has between her legs.
It would shake any tinker up if you was next to one of your friends / collegues when he was launched out of his aircraft and then fell down to the ground, face first still strapped to his seat.

That lass has more ability in her little finger than the majority of us here on OOF. To be chosen to part of the team in the first place shows that.
She has also demonstrated tremendous "guts" to say "no - enough" in the face of the massive publicity this was going to get, and the derogatory comments, as already seen here, folks with no knowledge would make.
:(
-
I second that.
-
What a shame but I feel for her. As Entwood has said, she's shown how strong she is by saying "enough is enough" :y
-
would you say the same if a "bloke"gave up?
-
I guess its the being unfit for flight for a few days every month and the inability to park the plane thats weighing heavily on her mind.............. :y
-
If you get in a 500mph jet and do insane stunts people are gonna get hurt, it's just the way it is......some people can do it and some can't, good on her for giving it a go though.

He would get a little stick but he would also be respected for having the balls to say, enough is enough ;)

Many have.... and not been subject to such treatment.
It is BECAUSE she is a woman that the fuss is being made, totally wrongly IMHO.

Many years ago, i'd have pished myself at that but after you have walked around a field with a bin liner looking for bits of a pilot that you have worked with, you tend not to laugh at things like that anymore ;)
