As said, 0420/0430 will have no affect on the Mot.
I have another 3.2 here had the light on for 3 years.

Daz (loo knee) can weald and do these I believe, but he is a bit... Well... "Stoke" ! Say no more ;D ;)

Need to check the MOT regs as I seem to recall that as of April......this might be an issue (light being on)

Mot it before April. For now...?

my understanding is that not only will the light being on be a fail, but removing the bulb will also be a fail.

ouch

best get an MOT now,  and then get Daz to do the move for you when you can organise a trip up to stoke....

( i had my sensor move done by Welung 18 months ago,   bit of a bugger of a job , we had to drill out knackered studs at the time as well...  )

It might be a failure as the MOT list mentiosn pretty much every other fault light (e.g. headlight leveling, ABS, airbag) but not specificaly an engine fault light.

Yep, don't recall engine lights being specifically mentioned. Seems to be more the safety related systems.

The other option is get a cheap OBDII reader and clear it before the test. :y

EML or Spanner wont be a fail after April, pretty much alll the other bulbs will be though if not working correctly.
