Post by: omega3000 on 08 March 2012, 08:58:38
If the aux water pump packs up what problems would it cause ? The thing that sits piggy back on the rad ... whats its purpose if you have a water pump on the engine block anyway  ::) Anyway to test it ?

Only runs when the engine is stopped. It circulates a little coolant after the engine has been stopped when hot, to prevent "after-boiling".

Can be tested by putting 12v across the terminals.  :y
