They have expensive taste Herons and hence why I have no Koi in the pond and only gold fish and orf.
There is a heronry near by and we get loads of them, got a pic somewhere of one stood on the fence at the bottom of the garden.

Duke of Westminster has a heronry on his estate....within walking distance.
See loads of them, never had my own pond attacked luckily.
kept meaning to go back with a proper camera to get a better version of that pic....was a common occurence to see it there.

Saw one of those swoop down into my neighbour's pond one morning.
Dormer window of the en-suite opened and, amongst a cloud of steam, a can of deodorant flew out. ;D
It was a brilliant shot, certainly saw it off. ;D
