(Don't bother with the impact wrench or the cut off tool, though, they're pants)

I have an impact wrench, and normal wrench, but had no luck with em...suspect my 6mm hose is too small to supply much air to em.

Big long post of mine somewhere where I was struggling to get my Aldi special impact wrench & air ratchet to do anything useful.. Might have some helpful hints in it :)

The filter regulator is pretty sh1te too. Handy for spraying yourself and the interior of your garage with light oil, perhaps, but beyond that...
Almost worth it for the air lines that come with it, just avoid frustration and bin the regulator.
Don't find the shears much use, TBH..
I find the cut off tool very handy, but it only gets used for light stuff where a bigger grinder / hacksaw won't fit.
My impact wrench has removed a hub nut.
Can't really complain for the price of the stuff IMHO.

I think I just got unlucky with the impact wrench, really - it just wouldn't spin at all (yet the identical Sealey I borrowed from Chris was fine)..
You're right about the regulator - I'm still waiting for the oil to finish coming out of the hoses ;D on it's minimum setting it emptied the reservoir in five minutes flat.. ::)
I cut through a bolt with a hacksaw faster than the cut off wheel would do it, though :( Should have just picked up my 4" grinder really.

You did better than me. Was fiddling with the adjuster on the top of the oiler trying to get it to work sensibly, and the thread stripped and it came flying out and practically embedded itself in the ceiling, closely followed by the contents of the oil reservoir. >:(

Have you noticed how the PowerCraft/Wolf/WorkForce stuff looks a lot like Sealey stuff? Case in point:

Yep, same old cr@p that comes off a boat from China. Stick your label on it and see how much you can charge.
A mate from another forum actually did a group buy one year. He had all the contacts in China so got enough orders from various kit car forums for a container full of tools, then shipped them over and distributed them around the country. Got some ratchet spanners. Same as Hellfrauds, but a third of the price. Couple of little metalwork lathes the like of which you see in Machine Mart - about 1/2 price.
It opened my eyes to the fact that practically everything with a Sealey / Machine Mart / Halfrauds / whatever label on it was procured in exactly the same way, and what a markup they put on them just for sitting it on a shelf in a shop. :o

Yup! I assume the only reason the Sealey guns seem reliable is that they have better quality control/test than Aldi..
And ooh, you mentioned lathes. I want a Myford Super 7. No idea what I'd make with it, but I bet I could make something :) Shame they still fetch ~£1000 or so (for ones made in the 60s!).

I bought a oscilloscope thru ebay direct from china, £240 all in, then £80 for test leads etc.
sealey have just introduced it to there catalogue....£1029!

Land of the inbreds - Banbury - had loads of them in. But the, your average Banbarian wouldn't have the faintest clue what to do with it. Blue LED footwell lighting would sell like hotcakes there though...

Last time im sure it was mansized, this time, very poor.
the plasic hose is deceptive. bought one today. the inner bore of the hose is around 7mm id which is plenty.
the outer id of the plastic hose is 10mm which is plenty for truck brakes, so..
10m length is good too.
