Title: Too fat to stand up - can sing a bit though.

Never paid that much attention to Solomon Burke for some unkown reason,but stumbled across some of his stuff on youtube yesterday. Christ, that bloke could sing.

Slightly slimmer in 1987. I never thought anyone but Ray Charles could sing this song.I was wrong.

watched him before.. these people borned with singer genes..not the most but many of them have good voice ..

Pure soul Cem.Gives me goosebumps.White folk just cant sing like that.As you say, its in the genes.

Never heard of him before tbh but that's fantastic. As you rightly say, white people just can't sing like that  :)

I had heard of him,mostly from eminent artists (Van Morrison in particular) citing him as a big influence.Just never took the time to really have a good listen until now. Very glad I did though. :y
