I am Niel. I am 70 & my Opel Omega is 11.

I feel a bit daunted going on these pages but have a few problems that come up & perhaps someone can help.

I live in Cape Town & there are very few Omega's in SA - they were never assembled here. They promised me there would always be parts available but that promise is getting thinner as time goes by. I have actually sorced parts from Vauxhall dealers in the UK but never successfully from Germany.

My present proble has been recurring for a while & my local dealer (who sees very few Omegas) cannot seem to solve it. It is that when starting from cold (never below 6 degrees here) it jerks for the frist few K,s. It was best described by 'jack123' on this forum. But, what is the solution?

Hiya Niel welcome to the forum.
If you post your question in the " General Help" section you are more likely
to receive an answer as the more knowledgeable members usually visits.
Also engine type would help i,e  2.0 2.2 or v6 2.5 2.6 3.0 or 3.2 HTH :y

Hi and welcome. Don't worry about getting bits I'm sure we can sort out some kind of rescue postage scheme. Post up all the details you've got on the motor and the issues you have in the technical forum. The guru's in the know will be able to help you I'm sure
