Title: Reading the VIN/chassis plate for paint code
Post by: Varche on 30 March 2008, 16:45:22
Just tried to figure out my paint code and failed.

The plate under the bonnet in front of the rad has the following:

6H1585 VP69 2RW L80 ML4 XN8 43 69W1047450

U BAU 1A02

Any ideas? Should I be looking at the plate on the drivers pillar?

I was going to point you in the direction of this thread, but it appears to be useless now.

PM MarksDTMCalib to let him know, I'm sure he'll fix it and explain your VIN number.
