went for a test drive in the new Skoda like  the one in the telly ads, found it to be a great car but the brakes were a bit spongey  :-/

i had a Skoda Fabia as a hire car.... great build quailty inside, just like a VW. I had the estate version, tones of space, 4 adults, 4 large suitcases, 4 rucksacks, all in the boot no probs!  :o

Quite nippy too...

For me its way too small, ride was good for a little FWD car, but not the Omega standards i am used to!  ;D

Engine was very 'gruff' or harsh is another way to put it, i found it really annoying, and it was not a pleasure to drive...

Seats where rock hard too  >:(
