1998 Elite ...if  automatic gearbox comes on display is it possible to identify the fault from any stored codes ? Have done paperclip test and its only registering test 1:2/1:2/1:2 so nothing stored.

Needs a decent code reader to read the TCM (autobox ecu)

Needs to be a Tech 2 then ? or any other suggestions as never seen that warning in the last many months .

have you checked transmission fluid level ??
that would be my first port of call  :y
