Title: RS / Farnell
Post by: Jimbob on 16 March 2012, 11:49:34
My Drivers Central locking motor has just packed up on me.

I have a spare....but thought I'd replace the switches as per Kevins guide before fitting..

http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=90642.0

So I need to order the switches, ok, but I cant get delivery details etc without signing up to the suppliers.
Anyone know roughly what im looking at from either RS or Farnell?  Dont want to spend £1.50 on a switch, and £5 or £10 delivery.

If its a lot, I may look at buying a decent quantity of them to resell on here without stupid postage charges.

Farnell CPC charge a lot for delivery IIRC (Don't have my log on details with me here but can take a look tonight), however, RS usually have a trade counter that you can collect from.

Pretty sure both are free delivery for online orders.

Edit: but thinking about it, I think Farnell have a minimum order level of £30 for credit card buys.  Not sure if RS are the same.

CPC were free for orders over £30 as mentioned but a £3 handing charge was added to all orders under that.  The charge may have gone up, but just ring them thell them what you are after and they will tell you the total cost.  :y :y  dont think you have to register
