Title: Wheels & Tool Kit
Post by: venom on 18 March 2012, 21:25:43
The 16 inch 5 spoke MFL Elite wheels with 225/55's on mine are pretty naff condition wise & I'm not to keen on the style but really like my 15 inch PFL CDX rims with 205/65's & they are in good nick & would like to swap them for my 16's now I take that as the tyres are 65's instead of 55's I shouldn't have any problems with the speedo but just thought I'd check first  :y

What came in the Estate foam tool kit holder in the spare wheel as all I have is the wheel brace & screwdriver but would like to have a complete kit  :y

Youd have to do the maths, but Omega has 2 speedo settings for tyres, on for 225/55/16 and another for all other tyre sizes...

I swapped mine for facelift alloys (& 235/45 profile 17s) with no apparent speedo problems

All I have in the foam toolkit holder on my estate is a screwdiver and wheel brace too so possibly that's the limit of the toolkit apart from the jack itself.

The only other thing I have in mine that I need is the plastic tool for taking the plastic covers off of the wheel nuts
I have a towing eye I found at the scrappy that I thought I needed only to find the estate actually does not require this  ;D
