Hello everybody
I bought my first Omega today, a T reg 2 litre CD.
It surprised me how nippy it was for a fairly large car. However, it needs a little help in certain areas, which I won't bore you with in this section.
I've had many Carltons/Senators, so the Omega seemed like a natural progression.
I'll be boring you all silly with my questions and wants in the appropriate sections.

Haven't had a Carlton or Senator for some time now. I started looking at them again, but fancied something a little later, so I got the Omega.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. What a nice place to be.
Day, it's going to be a few weeks before I start using the car regularly.
It suffered a bit at the hands of its last owner. It was the victim of a marital dispute, and the wife took out her frustrations on the wing and bonnet (see wanted ads).
Blocked breather, oil leak etc. etc. But the car has great potential. which is why I bought it.
Mind you, having said that, if I'd known of this forum before buying it, it may have been a different story. Some real nice cars in the classifieds here.
I drove the car home from Southampton on Sunday, and it didn't 'alf go well.
