Title: Exhaust manifold to head gaskets v6
Post by: doz on 21 March 2012, 00:54:20
Were these still a problem on the later cars? I now have a 2000 3lt. It's not doing the classic fut fut at start I'm just curious if they changed the design. If they do go is it still a engine out job to do them or have you found a magic manifold pixie at the bottom of the scrap yard which loves to do them.

Problem solved on 2.6/3.2. Not an engine out job,but bloody awkward. :y
Plenty of advice available from those who have done it.Specifically,Loo-knee & MarksDTM.
