hiya,
i`m replacing the stat on my V6 and was going to get one off ebay but i just want to ask as anyone got any bad experiences with non genuine GM stats?

ive used a unipart stat cost £11.50 inc vat and gasket seal,still working fine after a month,and fitting another at the weekend for eatmydust :y

thats just for the thermostat on its own,orignal will twist out of the housing,cant see the point in spending more than needed when something can be removed and replaced,if you have a unipart motorfactors near you they are the place where i get them from :y

i wanted the housing as well so would get a good fit as mine was pitted

they also sell the housing complete with thermostat think that was about £30 not sure tho
