Hiya all,
My omega keeps on draining its battery. I have replaced the battery to a new high quality bosch item but the problem remains. If the vehicle hasnt been driven even for 3-4 days then when i return the completely charged battery is completely flat. I think it may be due in part to the alarm as it starts beeping three times when the engine is turned off after a short drive and then going off randomly....
Any ideas on how i can remedy this?
Thanks in advance

and do it soon ... not unknown for the powersounder to catch fire once it starts to fail ... the sequence of "beeps" you hear is the thing telling you it is low voltage ... now if it has just been run it SHOULD be fully charged and at normal voltage .. the fact it is telling you the voltage is low means the batteries are not taking the charge correctly .. so they are knacked ... knacked batteries leak ... leaking batteries corrode ... corrosion leads to an electrical short ... the main battery is directly connected to the power sounder by an unfused connection ..... so an electrical short through an unfused wire equals much heat followed by fire ..... :(
Ask Jimbob .... it happened to him .. unfortunately ... :(
